The Heart of our Ride is our Volunteers

Ride The Vines couldn't be possible without the leadership of our Ride The Vines Team and the 100s of volunteers that make a spectacular Fall ride through the beautiful Temecula Valley Wine Country and surrounding area a day to remember.

The success of this event can only be made possible with the support of amazing volunteers like yourself. Ride The Vines is a great way for Nonprofit, Club, Team, Business, Community Service Group or ANY Group to get involved and volunteer together. We have many areas of the event and ride courses that are perfect for groups from 5 or more to volunteer together.  For student groups, this a great way to get community service hours while earning income for your club, team, group, or activity.

Look through the opportunities below to find ways to get involved, and sign up where you would like to volunteer your precious time!

Volunteers are the heart of this Ride and last years ride would not have been as wonderful without the nearly 300 Volunteers who made it happen.

RIDE CREW VOLUNTEERS

Nonprofit Organizers, Business Owners, and Educators lead the stations along the routes as well as multiple opportunities to be involved in planning, events leading up to the main event, and after event duties!

The Course Map provides a glimpse at where Volunteers encourage our riders and keep them safe!

We need ONE Lead for each Station. This Lead should be 18 and older. Volunteers should be High School Students and older.

Volunteers along the route will be asked to:

ARRIVAL

  • Arrive on time to your station

  • Park in a safe place or be dropped off

  • Give your Liability Waiver to your Lead.

  • Put on a Safety Vest

SAFETY

  • Caution bike riders of high speeds going downhill.

  • Warn of sharp turns

  • Cross traffic alert

  • Press crosswalk button

SUPPORT

  • Encourage and cheer on riders

  • Assist with Directions when needed

  • Provide water or snacks when available

DEPARTURE

  • Remain at  your station until the Lead releases you

  • Have your Lead sign off on your Community Service Hours

  • Return your Safety Vest

SUPPORT CREW VOLUNTEERS

Many hands lighten the load. In order for the Ride to go off without a hitch we need a RIDE DAY READY CREW to help set up the Start/Finish Village. Easy ups, Tables, Check In station, Parking Areas, Signage all need to be ready before the riders arrive. We need volunteers to help direct traffic, answer questions and just support our eager riders before they hit the road! We also need a COURSE CREW to map out the course the morning of the race and drop off signage, tables and waters at stations along the route!

Sign Up to make this event a Ride to remember and bring hope

and love to our community!
